6.1: Comparisons between festivals.

Love Music, Hate Racism. This is a music-oriented campaign based in Britain by the Anti-Nazi league and Unite against Fascism. LMHR was set up in 2002 in response to the percieved increase in support fort the far right British National Party. The organisation believes that modern music is influenced by many cultures and traditions, and that it can be used to bring different kinds of people together. The concerts include several music genre's.

The V Festival is also a music festival which also contains a variety of genres of music.

The V festival is simply about the love of music whereas the LMHR festival is more about how music can bring cohesion. They both are very sensationalised and well-known festivals which has proven to be successful over the years.
The LMHR festival is more about campaigning for equality and achieving a goal whereas the V festival is more about the music and the people.
They both are great festivals and have individual qualities which have made them so successful.
